I hope you've all been having a look at our new website. It makes a huge difference for us to be able to update it daily with news and articles.

I am on my way back from the JCI World Congress in Osaka, which was extremely busy!!! National Presidents from around 100 countries represented their JCI members in the General Assembly (GA). The world of JCI looks similar to a big parliament or the GA of the UN.

A typical day for the JCI UK National President can look like:

6.15 am - Wake up with a smile!
7.30 am - The annual breakfast meeting between JCI UK's National Board members and the National Board of JCI Japan
9.00-10.00 am - The Morning Show setting the agenda for the rest of the day
10.30-12.30 - General Assembly
12.45-1.45 pm - Lunch reception with JCI Belgium (they are hosting the JCI World Congress 2011)
2.00-3.30 pm - Nothing But Nets forum
3.30-4.00 pm - Meeting with members and the UN Foundation
4.15-5.00 pm - Reception with JCI Italy
5.15-6.30 pm - Reception with JCI Turkey
7.00-9.00pm - Dinner with JCI Japan
9.00-10-00pm - Quick visit to the JCI UK stand at the Global village party
10.00-11.00pm - BANZSI group meeting (BANZSI = the JCI national organisations we are connected to Australia, Scotland, Malta, New Zealand and Ireland)
Midnight - Back to my hotel to prepare for the next day.

All days at a World Congress are very busy for the JCI National Presidents. JCI is used to squeeze in loads of stuff into a very tight schedule and in the end it is pretty amazing how much we deliver during the week. It's very rewarding to be in the flow of everything that's going on in the JCI world.
