Engaged employees help recession survival

Engaging the hearts and minds of employees in today's economic environment is at that the top of businesses' agendas. JCI UK is delighted to welcome to its Conference one of the world's leading experts in employee engagement to talk about the components and drivers of engagement and specifically the role of leadership within the context of the current business landscape. The discussion is targeted at anyone wanting to improve engagement in their organisation.

Wayne Clarke, managing partner of the Best Companies Partnership, will break down the components of engagement and share best practice. Wayne Clarke says: "The current recession means that engagement has never been as important for organisations as it is now.  Statistics prove that it is organisations with engaged staff who will survive and be successful.
This session is designed to help leaders and managers experience, and therefore understand, how best to engage their employees. And, it does this by bringing together a decade of best practice of the most engaged organisations in the UK."

JCI UK is equally delighted to welcome as its key note speaker for the Conference, Charles Duff, Chief Operating Officer of Coffey EME, a leading global professional services consultancy focusing on both physical and social infrastructure. Coffey uses specialist knowledge to deliver extraordinary outcomes for clients across the full lifecycle of a project, from concept to completion. And, all of their people have one thing in common: a passion to solve emerging challenges to improve the lives of communities.

Charles Duff will discuss leading from the future and sustainable business models, i.e. doing well by "doing good for all", through values-based propositions.
