JCI Sheffield President, Kate Senter, is celebrating turning 30 in 2011 by supporting the Cavendish Cancer Centre.  JCI Sheffield inspired by this Epic event are launching the “Big 3(0) Run-A-Thon” in aid of Cavendish Cancer Care.  The aim is to encourage members to get their trainers on and do some running in aid of this worthwhile cause. JCI Sheffield will be hosting running events to help members train and get ready for the Great Yorkshire Run!
 
This is fantastic opportunity to get involved and raise money for a local charity which carries out truly remarkable work in the Sheffield area, which is only possible with the help of projects like this. Cavendish Cancer Care is an established charity working to help families and individuals affected by cancer for over 15 years. The charity provides free support for people who come to them, providing counselling and complimentary treatments.
