As many of you will already know JCI Leeds has recently launched their Nothing But Nets calendar with the aim of raising enough funds to send 1,000 bed nets to Sub-Saharan Africa in the fight against malaria.

Over the last few weeks JCI Leeds Past President, Julia Goodfellow-Smith and current President, Claire Dempster have been liaising with the JCI World Head Quarters and the UN Foundation about the project and were invited to join the Nothing But Nets stand at the trade show in Osaka, Japan this week.

Members of JCI UK have been manning the stand all week selling calendars and talking to members from around the world about the project.

Claire Dempster, said: ‘This has been a fantastic project for our members to be involved in. The project is already raising the profile of the Nothing But Nets campaign and the feedback from JCI HQ, the United Nations Foundation and members has been great.'
