2012 seems to be approaching very fast and now that I have officially been elected into the role of JCI UK Personal Development Director I am busy trying to make plans for next year.  The first JCI Presenter course of the year is now in the diary to be held on Saturday 4th February in London with Lina Derkeshli as Head Trainer and JCI UK Deputy National President Solveig Malvik as Assistant Trainer.  If you would like more information then please contact me at e.eastwood@cityliving.co.uk.

There have also been several enquiries from other chambers with regards to running Official JCI Training courses next year so watch this space for more information.

I recently I co-wrote and delivered a weekend of Local Leaders training with current JCI UK Personal Development Director Dan Lally in Boston.  The event was a great success and JCI Sheffield has already expressed an interest in running the course in 2012. We are happy to talk to any other chambers that think that this may be beneficial for their members.  The course focus is on  leadership in the 21st century and how to use the skills you will learn in your personal career and also your development within JCI.

On top of this I'm busy writing my speed training session for JCI UK National Convention in Sheffield in November and putting together a personal development program for presidents and deputies to run throughout 2012. Next on the agenda is creating a trainer database for all graduates of JCI Trainer and creating some action plans to help trainers start to bank their hours.
