You need more Structure.  You make it makes sense to put a structure in place that maximises your chances of physically thriving and being in a creative and productive headspace - but you can also convince yourself that you don't need a routine and that you'll be OK without it. Relying on motivation to make the right choices only gets you so far. As soon as life becomes stressful and mental resources get depleted, you find yourself defaulting to old habits and letting self-care and productivity slip. You may feel like you ping-pong between good and bad weeks. Creative types often resist the idea that they need something as mundane as a structure to flourish, but lasting change is driven by behaviour, and what we do most often and the right structure makes good habits more likely to happen. Start by focusing on the part of your fay that needs the most attention, such as your morning routine or what you do when you get home in the evening. Write down how you want to feel at those times of the day and the optimal routine that will best support that feeling. If it's too rigid, tweak it until you get it right. If you scored mainly B's. You need more Energy  For you, changing your life starts with upgrading your self-care and health habits, so you have the physical resilience you need to step out of your comfort zone. One of your biggest barriers to creating a new beginning is a lack of energy. Without enough energy, every aspect of your life can suffer. Stress is often the biggest drain, especially if you're in an ongoing situation that is emotionally undermining you. It's also hard to feel full of zest when you lack a sense of meaning or purpose in life, but mental energy is also closely linked to physical resilience and a lifestyle upgrade may be long overdue. Change can be scary and comes with the chance of failing, so not feeling physically on top form provides a great excuse for not making a start. Take some time to think about what changes you need to make to upgrade your sleep, exercise, eating and relaxation habits. It takes effort but, with more resilience, you can make the most of the opportunities that come your way. If you scored mainly C's. You need more Focus For you, the biggest obstacle to making lasting change is your thinking. There is so much going on in your head, it leaves little space for new ideas to take root and flourish. People with a deeply established habit of overthinking can find all their headspace is taken up with going over past decisions, experiences or even conversations. With all of that mental noise going on, it's not surprising you find it hard to stay focused on your goals. When we spend a lot of time caught up in our thoughts, it's easy to feel more time-pressed than we actually are. The key for you is to start small and experiment with making changes, even if you still have doubts or can imagine what might go wrong. Starting your morning with a mindfulness exercise can help you set the tone for the rest of the day, then try identifying the three most significant tasks to complete that day and focus on getting them done. Make sure at least one of them relates to your bigger-picture goals. If you scored mainly D's. You need more Streamlining  Living with clutter is like a physical manifestation of procrastination - all around you is evidence of deferred decisions. It's easy for stuff to accumulate to the point where a clear-out feels like a major task, but editing your physical space can be the most important first step in editing your life generally and making space for new opportunities and ideas to take root. Streamlining your home does not have to mean becoming a minimalist, but the feeling you get when you step through the front door should be one of calm and security, not what a mess or there is so much to do. Often clutter in the home reflects clutter elsewhere; an inbox that's out of control, a treadmill feeling at work, or a social life dictated by habit or duty rather than enjoyment. Try spending 10 minutes with a journal thinking about what areas of your life feel like their out of your control, then tackle them one at a time. And when you feel yourself resisting the process, remember that streamlining frees up time and headspace for the more fulfilling life you are craving.
