TOYP Statement re Mylo Kaye

JCI UK have been made aware that Mylo Kaye has been disqualified as a director for 3 years for causing a company, Redfishmedia Limited, to trade to the detriment of HMRC from at least November 2016 to September 2017.

This was not information we were privy to before Mylo Kaye was honoured as one of JCI UK’s “Ten Outstanding Young Persons” in November 2018. As with any other awards, Mr Kaye being awarded this honour was based solely on the written application that was received. We in no way condone Mr Kaye’s actions and took his application in the spirit of the TOYP awards and JCI’s values
of honesty.

As a result, we have made the decision to rescind Mylo Kaye’s TOYP award and have asked him to remove all mention of his TOYP award from his website, social media profiles and elsewhere in the public domain.

JCI UK will not make any further comment on this matter unless any other information comes into the public domain.
