I have just returned from an interesting lunch appointment with Rotary Club of Reading.

I would like to extend my thanks to President Nigel Penn-Simkins for the warm welcome and the opportunity to talk about Junior Chamber International and the opportunities that are available to both new and existing members.

It turned out that several ex-members and ex-presidents of JCI Reading were in the room, so it was an unexpected opportunity for me to establish links with some of these past members.

The main theme of my presentation was to engage local businesses so that we (JCI Reading) can work together with them to empower the JCI Reading members to make positive change.
