You may have read my previous blog about how JCI Bradford decided to run this pilot Harvest Festival Project and now we are just a few days away from the finish line.  It has been a truly amazing activity with some fabulous results.

Here are a few pictures of me with food collections from Bankfoot Primary and Bradford Grammar School respectively.

A really big surprise came from Multibrands International, a locally-based firm that heard about the project from a student at Bradford Grammar School and donated 200 sets of toiletries including toothbrushes and toothpaste.  Below are Charlotte Bastain and Magda Dziurkowska both of Horton Housing Association, Bradford who received the Multibrands International donation.

It has been such a great project to work on and the part that has been really special to me is seeing how such a simple idea has actually turned into a really worthy project helping people.

I must say a special thanks to Bradford Grammar School, Bankfoot Primary, Iqra Primary, Dixons Trinity Primary  and Multibrands International for their generous support of this project.

I intend to run this project again next year and make it an even bigger success hopefully engaging with more schools, local businesses and reaching more and more people who need our help.
