One very powerful element of being a JCI UK member is the connection we have with the local British Chamber of Commerce across the UK. Today I met with Adam Marshall, Director General of the British Chamber of Commerce at their HQ in London to discuss how JCI UK & the British Chamber of Commerce can work closer together on a local and national level. I was very proud to discuss how JCI UK member are making impact around the UK with chambers such as JCI Bradford, JCI Doncaster & JCI Southampton have very close links with their chamber of commerce. We have JCI UK members employed within a Chamber of Commerce and recently a former Local President of JCI Portsmouth & JCI UK Senator, Maureen Frost, became CEO of Hampshire Chamber of Commerce. I am very excited of how this strategic partnership can work for the benefit of both our organisations.
