Behind every good business is a great Finance Director, this is the same for a non-profit organisation, we do have money to manage.
If you’re good with numbers, money and accounts why not stand for the role of Finance Director on the 2021 National Team. We are looking for someone with experience of creating and managing a budget and preparing management accounts, either in your professional life or previously at a local level within JCI.
The Finance Director is responsible for tracking what’s coming in and going out of the national organisation. They are also responsible for making sure our financial controls are as secure as possible whilst not hindering the running of the organisation. The Finance Director also pays capitation payments to local chambers.
The person who fills this role will be working closely with the incoming National President to set the budget for the coming year, as well as the different roles to set budgets for the range of national academies we run and other national events.
Key skills:
- A good understanding of accounts is probably necessary to have or to quickly learn.
- Attention to detail.
